Kaiser Chiefs name Mark Ronson-produced new album - exclusive

Jack White and Alicia Keys for Bond themeKaiser Chiefs' forthcoming new album will be titled 'Off With Their Heads' and will be released on October 13.

The follow-up to 2007's 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob', the album will be preceded by a single, 'Never Miss A Beat', on October 6.

Lily Allen and New Young Pony Club add backing vocals to 'Never Miss A Beat', rapper Sway appears on 'Half The Truth' and composer David Arnold provides orchestration on 'Always Happens Like That', which also features vocals from Allen.

Other tracks confirmed for the album, co-produced by Mark Ronson and Eliot James, include 'Spanish Metal', 'Remember You're A Girl' (sung by drummer Nick Hodgson) and 'Can't Say What I Mean', which was debuted at Kaiser Chiefs' Elland Road stadium show in their native Leeds in May.

A Jackson Five reunion may be in the cards at an upcoming awards show next month.

BMI will honour the five brothers as BMI Icons at its eighth annual Urban Awards, which will be held at the Wilshire Theatre in Beverly Hills on September 4.

Previous honourees include James Brown, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, The Bee Gees, Willie Nelson and Carlos Santana.

The Jackson Five formed in 1966 and were the first group to have their first four singles hit Number One.

All the Jackson brothers except Michael Jackson have reportedly confirmed their attendance. An all-star tribute is planned for the event.
